Helly Hansen is the ONLY boot for me.

My last pair lasted me 7/8 years. Most boots my colleagues get are ruined in less than 1 year. Helly Hansen is AMAZING quality.

Yes, I recommend this product.

4/5 Solid pair of boots with few minor flaws

It's a solid pair of boots. Not super remarkable but no crushing flaws... It's relatively comfortable and true to size. They are by far the most durable pair of rain boots I've seen and warm enough for -25 before feeling uncomfortable. Unfortunately thaugh they are super slippery when it's sub zero and the top of the boot will remove your hair off your leg.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not worth the price

Used this boots 4 month and one of them ripped off, Used them in winter time and it was very comfortable but very expensive to buy it every 4 month.

Could be better

The boot is pretty good over all. My only complaint is that there's a hard rubber lip that can dig into your shin, just above the ankle, whenever you bend down.
  • redish area where the rubber digs in

No grip what so ever

I’ve had these boots for two years now. So the quality of rubber is good. Especially being in concrete all the time. But I hate these boots so much. Slipping and sliding all over site and very cold even with bamas

No, I do not recommend this product.

Uncomfortable and stiff

These boots are warm enough, but the rubber is extremely stiff, even in moderate temperatures. I bought them in 2021 when the Dakota's were out of stock (I liked those). The Dunlops are quite comfortable, almost too much so because they don't have any support. Don't walk across slopes with those, and they wear out in the toe very quickly. Dunlops are also a bit too tight in the calf for me. I regret buying these helly hansens - even after many uses they still rub a lot on front of my inner ankle bone leaving a red mark or even a blister if I'm in the boots for a full day. I'm going to try Baffin Ice Bears next - have heard very good things about them.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Favorite boots

Work in the Saskatchewan oilfield and I use these boots all winter and spring. Unbeatable for sloppy weather. Although not really insulated, the rubber keeps your feet dry as could be. Easy to slide on and off too. A bit clunky and large so if you’re looking to have more mobility and dexterity, sorry bout it. I shovel my driveway in them, I play with the dog in the yard in them, I go fishing in them, and I rock them out in the patch. Couldn’t recommend them more. 4 stars simply because of limited mobility.

Yes, I recommend this product.
