Nasty blister
a month ago
One walk of 2 miles and I had a nasty blister on the top of my foot. The shoe hinges badly and rubs the foot top. It was so bad I've ordered different boots from Amazon.

Not meant for hiking!

I hike weekly on local trails and on rocky beaches. These boots barely lasted one year. The outer layer (leather? Looks more like pleather to me) ripped open making the boots unusable. They are comfortable but inferior material makes for an unacceptable product. I will never buy this brand again.

the boots are well made and they fit perfect . they have to be walked in to enhance the supple leather but in time that will be done . I like the soles because i have another pair of Hi Tecs and love them . The boots last a long time .

I buy a pair of these boots every year. They are great hiking boots and good for all weather. I walked two Camino’s and wear them here at home at -40c weather. Great boots!

Poor quality

These used to be good quality hiking boots when they were Altitude IV and prior. With every update the quality gets worse. The leather is thinner and it cracks on the sides where it flexes just below the bottom of the laces. After a very few wearings the boots are no longer useful. Save your money for another brand.
