Comfortable but not durable enough for daily use

Shoe is very comfortable. Waterproofing was very good. Because of the attached tongue, a lot of stress was put on the top of the heel when taking them off, and the sole started to detach after 6 months. Finger loop on one side broke after 4 months. Sole started to detach at the front after a year.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not quite durable enough

I actually really loved these boots. Virtually no break in period, super comfy, light and little volume around your foot. Less than a week working in them and the toe started pulling away from the outsole. For 290$ after tax, I need a boot that will last.

Nice looking boot, but poorly constructed

Started falling apart after 110 days of infrequent use. Beautiful boots but not durable. I read the negative reviews and bought them anyways, thinking it must have been bad luck. The pair I bought looked and felt solid. Nope. The leather tears too easily. The soles started de-laminating after just 2 months. Finally 110 days after the purchase I decided to return them. The 100 day guarantee period was passed, but thankfully Mark's manager gave me an exchange and gift card for the different. I bought a sporty Timberland boot, which was much more comfortable. Pros: -Beautiful boot -Somewhat comfortable out of the box Cons: -Leather tears easily -Soles de-laminate after 100 days -Heel is low (most boots have elevated heel) -Flat soles -Too expensive for such low quality

Heel cup pulled out of footbed after 1.1/2 months

Nice looking boots BUT the heel literally pull away from the base of the foot bed after a month and a half of wearing them. For that price I was not impressed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Super comfortable, light shoes and practical. Just that they get easily scratched while wearing them to work.

Yes, I recommend this product.

      • A: Hello, The actual stated width in this case is “D” (Regular) however, the San Jose has a relatively more generous overall fit due to the fact that it has such a thin boot liner on the inside. The San Jose also features a full leather upper (vs. synthetic) so it has the ability to stretch a bit over time, if needed. As with all KEEN Utility boots, our D width toe box shape is the same as our EE width, so quite generous in the forefoot.
