Stear clear of anything Kodiak

Kodiak and Timberland (a subsidiary of Kodiak) use to be dependable manufacturers of quality footwear, not any more. The soles of my workboot quite literally disinegrated as did the sole of my Timberland winter boots. The Kodiak customer service rep tried to tell me it was because "I didn't wear them enough"!

Fell apart after a month

Wanted to love these... They worked well for the first few weeks. Waterproof and good fit during the winter months, but after a month, the whole sole on one of them fell off and the rest of it began to fell apart too. I don't know if I just got a faulty boot but I can't recommend this product after that. Returned and got a full refund.

Great boots

They are great boots. I wish there was a wide toe version but other than that I am satisfied. I've been wearing them as both my work boots and my winter boots

Light and comfortable. Don’t last.

These boots are extremely light and very comfortable. The weight is a huge plus if you are on your feet and walk a lot everyday.
However after 6 months of daily outdoor use the soles have had to be glued back on, and they leak a lot where the leather joins the midsole. They are far from waterproof.
Boots have been well cared for and have had Dubbin applied regularly, yet still leak. The stitching where the leather meets the midsole is letting go.

I bought these and within 4 months of use the stitching on the toe ripped, exposing the composite toe protector. Highly recommend not buying these and spending a little more money on a quality boot
