Perfect Levi's Men's 501 Jeans

I have purchased and worn Levi's Men's 501 Jeans for over 45 years now. I wore out my last two pairs until they had holes in the knees. I will cut them down into Bermuda shorts. My recent October 2026 purchase of two new pairs of Levi's Men's 501 Original Fit Stone Washed Denim Jeans at Mark's Penticton was perfect in every way. The new Levi's Men's 501 Jeans fit me just right just as they always have. Mark's had them on sale for $30 off the full price for each of them, so they were a real bargain. I give my latest two pairs of Levi's Men's 501 Original Fit Stone Washed Denim Jeans and the Mark's Penticton store my very highest recommendation!! Elaine the cashier was also excellent, knowledgeable, and so very friendly. I give Elaine the Mark's Penticton cashier my very highest recommendation as well!!

Less belt loops from previous purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jeans have changed since my last purchase about 6 years ago, these news ones have two less belt loops making it harder for a belt to keep pants up around waist if you use your belt for pouches hooked onto belt.

J’ai acheté deux paires de ce jeans et je suis un peu déçu. Le tissus étire beaucoup après une seule journée. Ce qui fait que le fit est moins bien, la jambe devient plus grande et que taille ne tient plus.

Q: I am wearing a size 36 and they are a bit big. I have lost weight and now think I should be wearing a 34, but the chart says I should be wearing a 36. Has the sizing/fit changed? Are they fitting smaller than they used to?

- A: Thank you for your question. Many factors impact the fit of a jean, for example stretch in fabric, high/mid-rise and style. Our size charts are based on a general average measurement. If your current size 36 jean fits a little larger on you, the 34" waist is the next recommended size…especially if the fit is a looser fit (athletic, relaxed taper, straight).3 years agoHelpful?

- A: Thank you for your comments/ question. Please note that all of our Levi's 501 jeans have a button fly opening. If you like this wash and the same 100% cotton fabric of this jean (but prefer a zip front), I recommend our Levi's 505 or 516 in stonewash (style numbers below). 50516-4891 50505-48913 years agoHelpful?
