After the 70s were over, things got more relaxed, including Levi's® Jeans. In 1985, they introduced the 550 Relaxed Fit Jean. It had the same quality and craftsmanship as the original 501® style, but more room in the seat and thigh. Today, it's still a classic for guys looking for a solid work jean or just an everyday laid-back look.

I've been buying levis 550 relax fit 32x34 for decades. These two I bought just lately did not fit me. Its too tight. Its too small.

Great loking jean out of the packaging eh Relaxed fit was a bit more relaxed then I expected, though loads of room for my muscle thighs, and no issues for my cowboy boots. Waist sizing thoughThese were tight for a 40, not impossible, still able to bend over and though disabled take a knee.# other brands the 40 waist was not an issue, if you want to call snug an issue. Since I am in physio for lower end repair lol I am expecting the 40 to come into its own. Like shoes, everyones sizing may not be exact.I am okay with that.
