I had to size down in these as they have a lot of stretch. The are shaping your buttocks, but I didn't like where the flare on the pant leg came out right at my knees and was quite large. If the flare was different they would be very nice. But they didn't sit well on me. I'm 5' 6" and 155lbs and the size 27 fit me.
