As someone with a smaller waist and bigger hips / thighs, these jeans are perfect! I've always struggled with gaping waistbands and often take my jeans to get tailored. these are so comfortable and flattering, roomy around the legs and fitted at the waist. beautiful material that will hold up for the long haul too.
