Bought these for a job that was mostly driving and office work w some field work (abt 25%). They are easy to put on, durable in all terrains and weather even Muskoka winters and are real leather. They also protected me when a chain hoist fell on my foot and hardly had a scratch. They are cute too which so many other boots aren't and I found myself reaching for them on weekends too! My puppy chewed the leather and I am buying another pair. They do run slightly big so size down if you aren't sure but I wear my regular size and thick socks. They would also be suitable for larger ankles/calves.

Q: Are these boots CSA approved? I do not see the green triangle in the posted photos. So for me I wouldn't order these without that guaranteed visual proof.

Q: Are they winter boots and waterproof

A: These do not have a waterproof membrane in them. The leather will offer some natural water resistance, but they are not waterproof.
