So comfortable and flattering!

These barrel jeans are so amazingly comfortable and flattering!
I was skeptical at first, because I have an hourglass shape and carry my weight in my hips/bum and thighs. I thought barrel jeans would draw more attention to this, but they actually do the opposite and are surprisingly slimming. These jeans can be worn in a relaxed way down on the hips, or pulled up higher at the waits and cinched with a nice belt. They look fantastic with a crisp T shirt or a slightly cropped sweater (not too short...I am too old to be showing my mid-section) I find they look best with a top that's a bit more fitted. If the top is boxy and it makes me look bigger and sloppier. They look great paired with some nice sandals or a clean sneaker. The denim is heavier, but very soft and has a little give, with is nice...especially when I'm bloated.
For reference, I'm 5'5", 138 to 143 pounds (depending on what kind of nonsense is going on in my moody perimenobody) I'm normally a size 28 in most jeans, but sized down to a 27 in these.
I have received so many compliments on my Silver Barrel Jeans. Every time I wear these out someone stops me to ask where I got them. This is the first pair of jeans that I've owned that I'm truly comfortable in and don't want to tear off as soon as I get home. I love them and hope Silver will make them in more colours!

I had the same issue as another reviewer. I bought these in Canmore when I was living out there. Loved the whole style and fi my and they’re so comfy. They’ve stretched out and I actually came in to look to see if I chance buying a smaller size that doesn’t actually fit but will stretch out to fit… seems An odd way to do it but I love the jeans and that it’s a Canadian company.
