I have had 2 knee replacements and wear orthotics. My foot specialist suggested this specific style of Sketchers because of the slip-in style. The back and heel are quite firm which provides better support than most shoes like this. To accommodate my orthotics I went up a size and this specific Sketchers model are Wide. I've never needed a wide shoe before but glad I went with these, SO incredibly comfortable. I'm really pleased with them. The first time I wore them it was through 2 airports and they were great.
