Excellent Winter Boot

It has been a long time since I have purchased a boot specifically for winter and always relying on hiking boots. I shouldn't have waited so long but found a boot that I am extremely happy with.

Absolutely garbage. The rubber failed on these boots after one season. Any one that says they bought these boots 30 years and they're the best quality ever aren't lying. But the boot sorel is making now is of the lowest quality material. Not the leather. Just the rubber. It started cracking the first season and by the second they were toast.

Pas étanches et peu confortables

Après une demi-journée de marche en ville dans 5cm de neige, l’intérieur des deux chaussures est mouillé. L’interieur du chausson amovible est resté sec.
Par ailleurs, je dois avoir un défaut sur le pied droit au niveau de la couture entre le chausson en caoutchouc et le cuir, celle-ci dépasse de plusieurs mm et vient frotter sur la malléole. Impossible de les porter à nouveau le lendemain. Aucun problème sur le pied gauche.
Déçu par la qualité du produit à la vue de ces deux défauts rédhibitoires.

First impressions - very comfortable

Coming from wearing work boots, these feel like slippers. The uppers are exceptionally soft and flexible. I'd personally prefer a slightly stiffer sole but that's a comments on preference, not quality. If these hold up anything like my wife's Sorel's, I'll have them for a decade. I've only used these to about -15C so far and they were plenty warm for walking.
