As a large footed Samsquentch, Sz 16, It is hard to get a good pair of well fitting, comfortable boots that allow me to allude the Big foot tracker in the forests. These boots fit that bill. These also perform well in the machine shop where I work nights.

very comfortable, the boot feels very high quality, I like is shock resistant, the only think that I don't like at all is if you tighten the cord too much, the leather of the boot bends and hurts the instep a little

Not as comfortable as I would have hoped. I had a pair of the timberland pro boondocks. They were very comfortable BUT did not last as long as I would have expected. I purchased there terra boots and am hopeful they last longer.

Poor ankle support, hot and smell terrible!

These boots are terrible. They are waterproof, both ways so your feet don't breath. Warm weather your feet are cooking in these boot even though there's no thinsulate. They also smell terrible when worn, I don't know if it's the materials used or lack of ventilation but I haven't had this problem with any other Mark's boots. The ankle support is non existant and they'll fold right over when your putting them on. The only reason I gave 2 stars is the fact that they look cool but other than that save your money and buy something else!
