These shoes are not for -40 C or below. Even -30c they cannot hold good warmth. They are good for -5 to - 20c at max. I am fuel delivery guy and have constant in and out of truck. I have wool winter shocks and they still don't help. Even with extra insulation of inserts no use. They will get cold.

My go to winter work boot

I deliver propane. So I drive a truck and pull a deliver hose through deep snow. These are perfect. Plenty warm down to -35 and not to large and clunky. I’m able to easily shift , brake and drive with the pedals in my truck. These are my 4th pair. They usually last me between 3 to 4 years. I usually have to replace them when the tread wears and I don’t have as good grip on hard pack snow. I have never had a seam come apart like the first pair of dakotas I had many moons ago. Only con is the liners are abrasive if they are in direct contact with you skin on the shins. I remedy that by tucking my long Johns into my socks.. no biggie

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Not for Alberta cold or similar weather conditions

I was a Terra shoes fan before I bought these so called crossbow -60 rated work boots. I am a fuel delivery guy, I am in and out of my truck. I bought these shoes thinking they will be good for the Alberta winter. I was wrong big time. They get really cold below -20c. The internal and external have the same temperature. Even the liner gets cold, especially near the toes. I am wearing woolen thick thermal socks. Still they would get cold. I then had to use battery socks from Costco to keep my feet warm. I even called the Terra company the customer service lady was nice, but she couldn't solve my problem. I would say Terra lied about their product when they mentioned -60C rated shoes.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Not Warm!

These boots are extremely cold. I work outside as an industrial painter and it’s only -15 and the footbed of these boots are frozen. Makes the whole inside feel damp even though it’s not. I work 10 hour shifts and an hour into being outside I need to take them off and stick them inside a heater. Switched back to my summer boots because they are warmer in there. Not sure if these are defective or if they just really don’t work.

No, I do not recommend this product.

No, I do not recommend this product.
