Too heavy

The item I received was significantly heavier than anticipated, making it impractical for its intended use. Furthermore, my attempts to resolve this issue through customer service were unhelpful. I was informed that a return was not possible since it a clearance item which I didn't know initially.

Couple of nitpicks but overall decent purchase

I'm a big timberland fan but was short on money this year when I needed a new pair. I'm a size 13 so I pretty much am forced to buy by what's available. These were on sale for ~$120 and that feels about right for them. My feet have stayed warm and dry, even when they've been up to the top of the boot with snow. How waterproof they are I'm not sure, but I've splashed in puddles etc and my feet were never wet when I took them off. They're quite narrow in the middle which took some getting used to because I have wider feet. My biggest gripe is that the laces are a material which is very smooth with little friction so they're hard to actually get tight, and when you do the eyelets all go crooked and sideways when you pull the laces too hard. I've also yet to try how much traction they have but the couple times I've stepped on black ice they haven't been impressive. I plan to oil these and keep them as long as possible so we'll see how long they really last.

Yes, I recommend this product.
