These Timberland PRO heavy-duty insulated Boondock boots provide industrial-grade protection. The waterproof leather uppers have internal waterproof, breathable membranes that provide maximum moisture protection and resistance to blood-borne pathogens. The boots are also insulated for cold-weather comfort and to retain heat. For long days on your feet, Anti-Fatigue Technology footbeds provide shock absorption and energy return. In addition to meeting CSA safety standards with composite toes and plates, these boots have All-Weather TPU outsoles that are heat-resistant up to 120 degrees Celsius.

Does the job

This is my 5th or 6th pair of these boots. I find them extremely comfortable. I work In harsh environments and I struggle to get one year out of them. Waterproof? Maybe for the first 6 months. When I retired my last pair the sole had fallen apart. I really feel like these could be built a bit better but like clockwork I am replacing them annually. Grease/dirt/mud/snow/ice/whatever you throw at them.

Worth the price

I’m on my feet for 8-10 hours a day 21-28 days in a row . I need support and a
water resistant leather work boot. Timberland might be a little more expensive but they are worth the price. I cycle through 3 pairs of boots so that they are dry each and every day.

Good boot but with qualifications?

I bought these boots in my normal size to wear inside and outside as a powerplant operator walking on a variety of surfaces including metal grating, concrete, ballast stone, and snow. These boots felt so good when I tried them on in the show truck, even though I recognized right away that they are very heavy. I wore them every day for about a week and realized that the internal structure of the boot is not supportive enough and it constantly feels like I'm wearing mud encrusted boots(heavy), and I'm not, while walking through a swamp. These boots are tiring to wear and walk in. It's like constantly walking in sand. I then gave them to my son to try. He works in electrical substations climbing structures, walking on concrete, ballast stone, etc. and he feels the same way... these boots are just too tiring to walk in with their heavy weight and very soft internal structure. The boots show virtually no wear, but they've only been worn for a few weeks. I will not buy these boots again. I have a couple pairs of the Boondock HD logger boots and they are night and day more comfortable to wear all day than these are.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking boot. It looks like I mean business when I am working. I don't have to worry about my feet. I was moving a christmas tree and it fell on my toe. That is why I bought this boot. That could never happen again. This boot is worth the money of avoided what could have been a broken toe. I knew this boot would prevent any future mishaps like the one I suffered wearing a boot that doesn't have the protection and quality The Boondock offers!
