Comfortable but not waterproof

They were comfortable and looked nice but a big loss for me is that they weren’t waterproof after a week. Even just standing in snow or a small puddle they would get wet inside. Definitely not ideal for us plumbers lol.

Poor material quality

Poor quality from a brand that I've had good luck with in the past. For a more than $300 pair of boots you'd expect them to be real leather, but that's not the case with the true grit boot. After 2 months whatever material they use started to crack and peel where the boot flexes mid foot. They had not been exposed to very harsh conditions or any chemicals, just general use in a manitoba winter.
The only good part of the experience was when I returned them to Mark's there was 0 questioning and they agreed it was manufacturer defect and issued me a full refund as I did not want to exchange them for another pair of poorly made Timberland's.
