New fav but tough to break in

Love these boots! They are a little heavy and take some time to break in but they're the most comfortable boots I've worn. I work full time and do lots of lifting and walking so for the first week or two, breaking them in hurt my shins, but now they feel great. The soul in the boot has extra padding and they have helped a lot with my knee pain.

PROS: Lots of toe room. I normally fit an 8 in something snug like a runner and 8.5 in boots but I ordered 8's and they have plenty of toe room and they didn't compress the tops of my feet when I would take a stride the way the Keen steeltoes did. They also are good for wide feet. My feet are broad across the toe joints and I don't feel squished. They have great tread, I get traction and haven't slid around like a deer on ice yet. They are a great height for mixed purpose like driving, working around vehicles, walking etc..
CONS: They're quite stiff so it's a bit like walking in ski boots for the first two weeks. They also don't breathe well so even will my marino wool socks my toes get into a cold sweat.

Less than 2 years with them, I work in the landfill I am a supervisor, my job is to evaluate, so it is not really heavy my work, despite that the soles of the boot were broken... when I bought them they promised guarantee for life now I understand.
