Zipper broke after 3 uses. Poor quality.

Nice for the first few months, but now the zipper will not work. Unfortunately this happened after a few months. I used it very infrequently. I can see a few other reviewers had the same issue with the zipper. Suggest getting something that has a better quality zipper... or at least a warranty on the zipper.

Best rain jacket I've ever had!

I got the jacket just in time for the cold early spring rains. I have worn it together with my Tempest rain pants in some heavy driving rains and it kept me warm and dry. The jacket is large enough to fit a sweatshirt under it on cold days, but is not too loose with just a t-shirt on warmer days. The large hood keeps rain out of my face and the sleeves are long enough to keep water from wicking up my shirt sleeves. The zippered vents keep me from getting too warm and sweaty. Lots of pockets to keep things in tool

This is a warm, waterproof jacket perfect for Vancouver weather. Best of all, the hood is fully removable. Good pockets too. A little rigid, but not so that it’s a problem.

Ordered on line,each time received the TEMPEST I version, (exact same SKU as TEMPEST II). A store manager finally informed me that the TEMPEST II is replaced with the TEMPEST I. DO NOT try to order and sould be removed from your website or identified as NOT AVAILABLE.

not waterproof

I bought this so-called waterproof jacket in November 2021. It performed well for the first few months but now I get wet while walking for just half an hour during showers. It leaks primarily in the sleeves. I had its predecessor jacket and it performed well for many years until it was worn out.

- A: Thank you for your question. Viking Tempest Classic II Waterproof Rain Jacket, style 838, has 4 pockets on the front of the outershell. Two are located at the chest and two are located on the lower end of the jacket as hand pockets on both the left and right hand sides. There is one inside pocket at the left chest as worn.
