Not made for rough work

After cutting and splitting 5 cords of wood these gloves have totally disintegrated and failed. They lasted 3 weeks!! The glove thumbs and fingers used for picking up the split wood pieces have totally worn through both layers of the glove.
No, I do not recommend this product.
