Affordable protection

I am not sure why people would give them a one-star rating but they fit my purpose to a "T". When working with anything thorny the gloves offer great protection. I also use them to handle chickens and to clean out their nesting boxes. Again they work very well except the chickens get a little annoyed because they can't peck me. :-)
In cold weather I buy the gloves large enough to fit another thin glove as a liner. I I highly recommend them.

Great waterproof glove

I drive a garbage truck and these gloves are great. They do not have a lot of grip on slippery surfaces, but my hands don't get wet and they are perfect for my use. The fit is quite large and I am able to slip them on and off very quickly. I wash them in the wash machine every so often and they usually last a long time.

Gets holey fast!

I bought 8 pairs of these gloves this past year. I concur with the other poster, the holes develops very quickly in between the fingers and within 2 weeks the area between the index and thumb will eventually develop a gaping hole. I work as a commercial property power washer and my duties include light duties such as picking up scraps with broom and sweeper, the occasional broken pallet board and using my power washer equipment to clean the property. Chemical and water resistant gloves is what I wanted in these gloves but their longevity is severely hampered if they only last 1-3 weeks of use. Poor quality and durability. I recommend you look else where if you have similar needs to me.

Holes Develop Between Fingers

I have bought 2 pairs of these gloves, and both pairs quickly broke down by developing small holes between the fingers of both left and right gloves.
The first is noticed as it suddenly allows water and other liquids to get into the gloves between the index and third finger. The next stress point appears between the thumb and index finger, but takes a bit longer to happen since it seems to have no seam there.
Used in light duty work lifting wet objects, while holding a scrub broom.
Comfort is not that great, as inside is almost like a canvas, but I use white liner gloves for that.
