I'm wearing a Back Forty boot I got about two years ago and this model is almost identical in appearance. In comparison, the current boots are slightly lighter and I can step into this boot without having to pull on the pull-tabs, which I had to do with my original boots. Also, these boots are listed as dark grey but they're really closer to medium-dark brown. I actually like the colour.

Excellent boot to buy

The boot is well made, real leather, great treads on the bottom and very light. Best of all when it’s cold outside the boot doesn’t feel like it’s frozen block of ice. The price is wonderful too!

Excellent boot for the price

I got the Back Forty boots for myself since my son has been wearing them for several months. The polyurethane sole makes them lighter weight than the other Chelsea boots carried by Mark's. I was worried about how they would grip in snow, but they're fine. I also noticed that they're the only Chelseas at Mark's that my narrow heels don't slip around in. Materials and workmanship are on par with brand name boots, and the style is to my liking. As with anything at Mark's, watch for them to go on sale.

Perfect size and it molds to my foot. Right amount of flex and sole thickness. It developed creases but it's no problem with me. Adds character. Good leather work.
