The cushioned insoles in these WindRiver Back Forty boots can be removed in favour of custom orthotics if you prefer. Our innovative QUAD COMFORT® footwear technology consists of four comfort components which address shock absorption, weight distribution, cushioning and pressure displacement. The boots feature ICEFX outsoles with an innovative tread design dual ice technology for advanced traction on ice.

Great traction but had waterproofing issues

Have had my pair for 2 winters. Boots are warm and the traction is fantastic. Only issue is that when conditions are slushy, there seemed to a leak in the sole of the boot. This was not an issue if it was cold.

Worst Shoes. feels very cold minus 5-10. also, can scratch and give wound to shins. Marks should have thrown this product out.
