Very good parka that keeps you warm and dry - I've used it in a cold spell (-25°C) and rainy weather.
More than enough pockets - 6 exterior and 2 on the inside (one of which is fairly large).
Zippers seem good so far - includes 1 on each side from the waist down which allows for more flexibility/motion.
Only complaint is that the hood seems a bit small/tight on the top of your head and gets intrusive behind your head when left down. Had to remove the hood Faux fur trim as it interferes with your blindspot view when driving.
Also, contrary to the description, the hood is NOT removable.
Some might find it bulky if you get a size to large.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: Thank you for your question. This style does not include a waist drawstring. The center front zipper is not 2-way on this style however there are size zips on either side so that the hemline is opened to allow for more leg movement if the activity requires. Hope that helps!

Q: Could you tell me what is the purpose of the two straps inside the coat.? They are approximately 1.5 inches wide and go from the shoulder down to the waist.

A: Thank you for your question. These are internal backpack straps so you can wear your jacket on your back when inside or when it gets too warm. This feature is often found on heavier weight parkas. Hope that helps!
