Really warm flip mitts! I went back and bought another pair because they are so comfy. They fit well and keep your hands warm, that said, I would not wear these in freezing conditions, but for general use or an extra pair for the car they do the job. My hands are cold ALL the time and I like that they are wool. I would buy these again if I could.

Mitts is mitts. I wear these INSIDE a leather work mitt shell. These are warmer than my 40-year-or-so-old 100% wool mitts that I had been using inside the leather shell mitts. For the first few times they were a bit difficult to get on & off (due to the individual finger tubes), but with use they now come off and on relatively easily. The individual finger tubes do make it difficult to "cuddle up" my fingers in a fist, when it is really cold, but I think that too will get easier as they wear in. The important factor is that they are warm. Oh, and I notice no smell.
