Fabric degrades and stretches

These shorts started out great - nice fit, quick dry. But over the past year, the fabric has degraded (despite low dryer heat) and now the shorts are more like a skirt, floppy and mis-shapen. Tried to do an in-store exchange, hoping they would stand behind their product quality, but since it was over 100 days they weren't willing to do anything. Would NEVER buy these again, not recommended, very disappointing.

I got two pairs of these just prior to a 4 week trip abroad and wore them easily 90% of the time. TL;DR I would buy them again. They wear well, don't get dirty very fast and were easy to wash in the hotel sink and dried quickly. My wife says they look good and I'm not going to argue. The pockets are plentiful and secure. I didn't use the belts they came with (too narrow).
