These WindRiver insulated and waterproof leather winter boots can go from work to a rugged casual weekend adventure. A zippered closure system, pull tabs and a stretch gore in the collar allows for easy entry. A molded backstay and molded TPU toe bumper add even greater durability. Warm, Waterproof, and Worth It!

1. Warmth and insulation: Excellent in spite of being thin.
2. Traction and grip: Relying on CBC Marketplace's research on ICEFX technology (difficult to confirm without testing them personally).
3. Comfort and fit: Correct sizing, I chose one size larger because with previous boots they were too tight.
4. Durability and build quality: Quality at first glance good, I hope they are durable.
5. Waterproofing: Excellent.
6. Weight and mobility: Not too heavy and due to its design good mobility.
7. Ease of use: The zipper is the best, I hope not to have to buy lace-up shoes.
8. Value for money: Excellent, far superior to previous boots from another brand that cost me an additional 100 CAD.

I bought a pair of these yesterday. Almost had to toss a coin between the black and brown versions. Nice quality leather and very solid. Best of all is the traction. These are extremely good. The diamond shaped parts of the sole are infused with some sort of grit (silica?), and really bite into the ice and snow. Highly recommended.
