These WindRiver insulated and waterproof leather winter boots can go from work to a rugged casual weekend adventure. A zippered closure system, pull tabs and a stretch gore in the collar allows for easy entry. A molded backstay and molded TPU toe bumper add even greater durability. Great boots

Love these boots, great fit, warm, and easy on and off which was what I was after. No laces, which also is what I was avoiding and these worked perfectly. There is a special grip coating on the bottom which works!

Great boots. Easy on /off with zipper. Keep feet warm and dry. No slipping on ice. Comfortable since day 1. My husband wears everyday to walk my dog.

The non-slip feature is what sold it for me.

I needed footwear with better slip protection and ordered these boots after doing some research. As well I needed boots that were slip-on so I didn’t have to tie laces. This style with a zipper fit my needs.
The boots are comfortable to wear, and although I would not pick them for bitterly cold temperatures, they kept my feet warm being used as a day to day boot for shovelling snow and driving.
The non slip feature was clearly evident. You could hear the particles embedded into the sole when walking on concrete floor. That being said, as it is the main feature of the boot, I would not want to accidentally wear them into the house with hardwood floors.

Q: Very tight to put on can I stretch the boot opening? They are ok when once on but quite difficult to put on.

A: Thank you for reaching out. I do not suggest trying to stretch the boot opening as you may break a seam. However, there is a zipper on the side of the boot which should make for an easier on/off. Hope this helps.
