Insect Repellent Cap

I wore this on a four day hike in the Tonquin Valley near Jasper which is as well known for mosquitoes as the caribou. It worked as advertised. I recommend it.

Bug Repellent Ball Cap

Got this last week and couldn`t wait to try it out, the fit is adjustable and this is well constructed as most Wind River products but very disappointed with its bug repelling performance after trying it while out in the garden and my yard 2 -3 times. I live in the country so no shortage of bugs during the warmer weather and I was still getting bite with it on even chose the lighter color as bug like darker colors. Will be returning it, it would have been well worth the $$ if it did work as claimed...
No, I do not recommend this product.

I didn't realize how well the hat was working until I took it off and was bugged by mosquitoes. It is now a must for me for outdoor work around my cottage. My only comment is that it is warm to wear, but I appreciate that mesh or netting may not keep the bugs out as effectively. So happy to be a bit warm and bug free! Also great at keeping the sun off my neck.
