I have the Grid T-Max Heat fleece top as well and you can feel the heat being held as soon as you put these on. They are very comfortable and keep me toasty warm. I wear them both when out horse-riding in the winter in temps down to around -15.

Its in the minus 20s with windchills well into the minus 30s. With these and wind pants on I am very warm while walking the dog

Very comfortable and warm

I've had a pair of these for a couple of years and loved them so I bought two more pairs this year. These are very light and comfortable. The waist doesn't bind or roll. I wear them mainly as leggings at home with a long sweater or under pants if I go out on a very cold day. They do keep me warm!

Great Base Layer

Bought these pants as base layer for snowmobiling. They were excellent! Wore in -13 degree weather under my snowsuit. I was not cold!

Great for lots of different weather

I wore these while snowshoeing on Mt Seymour at 0 degree C, and then again in Northern BC when it was -17 under a pair of sweat pants. Neither time was I too cold. These are great. I am very happy with my purchase.
