Size and colour matter

I bought 2 pairs of these pants in preparation for a trip abroad online. I bought black and navy blue. Size 10. They arrived very quickly. Upon trying them on the blue fit as expected, but the black were uncomfortably tight. Then I discovered a neighbouring store actually had them in stock, so went and tried a size 12 and they fit very well. So, buyer beware. The colours affect size.

Shameful 'upgrades'

I have purchased these pants for years but they've changed the quality. There are no longer back pockets which isn't a huge deal but the fabric is much thinner than it used to be and it wears down everywhere FAST and pills at friction points. Pants haven't gone down in price either. I still wear the previous pants with NO issues so will check thrift shops for them. I'll also research and find another brand that still appreciates quality.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Will the zippered pockets hold a cell phone? How much stretch is there to these pants - I am looking for super comfortable pants with lots of deep pockets for travel, esp on planes.
