I have had these boots for more than three years. They are still comfortable, warm, and tough. I live on a dirt road and the treads are still in excellent condition. I am thinking about buying another pair but these ones are still in great shape. I do double knot the laces as they do slip, but if someone really wanted to they could just replace the laces.

Q: Just curious as to how long the ice fx sole lasts.. do they wear down with time?

A: Thank you for reaching out. In short, yes, the Icefx outsoles do wear down with time, as all outsoles do. This specific product has our Green Diamond technology where the rubber is impregnated with a durable, abrasive synthetic quartz. As the rubber wears, a new layer of quartz is exposed. Regarding how long it takes to wear away, it really depends on how often they are worn and in what conditions.

A: Hello, these boots are a synthetic PU nubuck and nylon upper. They do have an improved TPU toe bumper and heel kick for added durability this year. Karlie
