Inefficient online purchasing system

Bought online at 10 AM from Finch McCowan store for pick up and did not hear from them until 2 days later.
At 4PM I bought same gloves from Cedarbrae store and was advised to pick them up 17 mins after.
I picked up the next day but could not cancel my first order which is cancelled 7 days after not picking it up.
