Good pants

They are good, I was going to give them a 4 but they keep slipping down even with a belt and they just don't seem to want to stay up. Just because I'm a plumber doesn't mean I want to have plumbers crack. I wouldn't buy them again just because of that. I think they would be good for a job where your more upright all the time, not as much kneeling and crawling around

Excellent Fit and Quality

I love these pants. They fit me really excellent so i bought 3 pairs. I want to wear them all the time even off jobsites. I kinda wish they came in different colours like black or army green but theyre so worththe investment regardless. The pockets are perfect for my knife and pencils. I have another brand of workwear pants that i also love but they just didn't nail the pocket setup as well as these and boy do i notice on those days. Everything feels really well reinforced and the fabric strong and thick but not stiff. They are excellent.

Comfortable fit, does stretch a bit over time. Great work pants! Could be slightly higher wasted, but other than that love the fit.

I love these pants!

The clerk at Marks recommended these to me and they are perfect for on my bike. They are tough, heavy, strong, fit great and I can put knee protectors in the exterior pocket. I just closed the pocket hole with industrial thread to hold them in pace. Solid pants for riding.

I bought these pants a couple months ago and they already are getting holes in them and have have sticking coming apart.

Pricey but good and fits a bigger butt

Pretty good, got them about a month ago and seem to be holding up well. I currently have carhartt insertable knee pads in the double knee and they hold them well.
I feel like I read somewhere on the label these pants were supposed to be stretchy a bit but I don’t sense much give in them. The fabric doesn’t seem to have the tightest weave and I’m worried it will tear a bit more readily in time, but overall very good pants with useful pockets and seem robust so far. Seems to fit nicely over the bum area if you are heartily endowed
I work in landscaping with mortar and stone dust and spend lots of time on my knees.

Poor quality/not durable/unresponsive brand

Fit in the morning and stretch out over a full size by end of day they’re falling down. Seams coming apart and have only had them for a couple of months. Emailed customer service at Dovetail with pictures and received no response.
Had slim fit carhartts before these and they lasted me 5 years, but unfortunately they no longer make the style I prefer so tried something different.
These pants look great, but are at the top end $$, but not great quality or durable and didn’t find the company stood by their product as I didn’t receive a response. If you’re actually a tradeswoman just don’t bother.

Waste of Money

Don't spend the money. After 3 months of part time wear, these pants are pulling apart at the seam. The material is separating.
I've worn carhartt pants, similar in material, and have gotten over a year of full time wear.
I will never be buying Dovetail products again.
