They're built with premium waterproof leather uppers and TimberDry eco-conscious waterproof membranes. The boots have removable sockliners, contoured for a good fit, and padded tongues add comfort to the forefoot as you stride. EVA cushioned midsoles add support underfoot and solid rubber outsoles feature multi-directional lugs that provide good grip on varied terrain.

25+ plus years with this type of shoe

I have been wearing this style boot for over 20 years. It is the only brand and style I will wear. I run extremly cold so I do not trust any other brand or style to keep me warm, dry and comfortable. I have worn them for snowshoeing, sledding with the kids, cross country skiing, Christmas tree hunting etc., even over winter boots because I know that if my feet are warm, I will be warm in my outdoor activities. I run an all outdoor preschool program and before I could buy my new boots, I chose to use my old worn Timberlands over new boots. #SWEEPSTAKES

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had back surgery. I have over 10 pairs of the same boots. I have drop foot and have to wear a brace to keep from tripping over myself in the shop. The 10-10.5 didn't fit well with the sole of the brace with an insert. I decided to order a size 11 and it fits beautifully. It is nice that I donate my old boots to a friend who works at a race track This allows him to use them till they are just about falling apart betof the conditions. I love the 12135 style and have tried others in the line, but none hold up!
