The netting underneath allows for some air flow at least. Wore these bike riding in the rain. They work. The waist elastic is abnormally tight for a large. Still a good get for me. But wait for a sale

Not packable.

Pants not packable. Front pocket is not large enough to pack within and the pocket zipper is not double sided. Just overpriced normal rain pants.

Overall great product, but the waist is too tight and it cannot be made bigger because the elastic is sewn in. You need to review the spec.
