this is a very good rain jacket ,BUT ....BUT ..BUT ...the zipper gets caught and hard to get loose again ..and the teeth come apart ....and fall out ....typical nylon zipper problem ...I had bought two to be fair and both had zipper problems ....not worth fixing .

Zipper broke within 3 months - keep your receipt!

Lasted about 3 months before the zipper broke. Did not keep the receipt and so Marks gave me a store credit for the lowest price this sells for, within an 18 month range. Worked out to a 37 dlr credit. Now that I look at other reviews, I can see the zipper breaking to be a recurring issue.

Terrible Quality compared to others

I bought this at the same time to compare with a SwissTech packable rain jacket.
The Viking has poor workmanship, shallow pockets, fewer pockets, cheaper zippers, more restrictive fit under the arms, and it's made from a cheap and noisy plasticy material that has the feel and texture of a trash bag. Really disappointing product and I'm returning it immediately.
