I bought these boots for my son who lives in the Grey Highlands in Huron/Bruce. He is delighted with these wide fitting boots that are warm and comfortable as well as waterproof. They are perfect for dealing with the almost constant snow and winds from Lake Huron this year.

Q: Is there a way to make these boots more comfortable in the back. The top of the boots are vey stiff and dig into the back of my legs making them vey uncomfortable. There should have been a recessed u cut to alleviate the discomfort. Any suggestions?

A: Thanks for reaching out. I would suggest trying the Rundle Hiking Boot (5CPAWRF19-1240). The collar is a bit lower and the style still comes equipped with an ICEFX outsole. Hope this helps.
