DISASTROUS EXPERIENCE ORDERING FROM MARKS ONLINE

The 2 for 1 purchase of WindRiver walking shoes was a frustrating experience. The shoes appear to be OK. I Wear WindRiver winter boots size 12 and they fit great. I ordered these in size 12 and they feel very loose. I should have ordered size 11 or 11 1/2. During my online order there was no opportunity to enter my address. Just as my order was finishing I realized Marks had somewhere found an former address. I have never ordered from Marks online before but may have given my address to a store in a town near where I used to live. I phoned 4 times to Marks online to eventually be told they couldn't update my address but to go to a store near me. I did so and they said they couldn't change my address. I contacted Purolator who were delivering and they redirected to my current address. However only 1 pair arrived so I had to go through the whole experience a 2nd time when they were shipped through Purolator about a week later. NO MORE ORDERING THROUGH MARKS ONLINE!!!

I would never buy another pair of these shoes again. The treads are little pockets that easily cracked, and this causes an annoying noise when walking.

Weak sole - cracks easily.

I bought a pair of these shoes 5 months ago - Oct.11.23. The soles have cracked. The bottom of the shoe is made up of pockets of air ( Ambient Air ) covered by a thin layer of rubber. The rubber pockets have cracked in several places. When walking in wet conditions, the cracks allow water to accumulate inside. The soles are squeaky to begin with and with the water, more so. They also lack side support. Casual shoes, maybe. Walking shoes, no. Even though they are well worn, I'm going to attempt to get them replaced.

Asked for size 14. Only width available is x-wide I guess as that is what was sent. It was like "stepping into a rowboat with room to fish on either side of my foot". Set them back and ordered Merrell instead.
