Stronger than your average face mask, this Helly Hansen flame-resistant balaclava is anti-static and highly resistant to abrasions. It features a ribbed expandable face opening to keep cold air from reaching vulnerable areas like your mouth and cheeks. The moisture-moving material helps to prevent perspiration from accumulating on the inside while flatlock seams minimize chafing to keep you comfortable on active days.

Overall it is a high quality product. The FRC fleece is fairly thin but I know it is durable and good enough to keep the wind off your face. The only improvement I would suggest is the location of a seam- there is one in the centre of the mask directly on top of the nose. Since this is the area that will be stretched the most, the abrasion from the seam can be a bit annoying. Two seams straddling the nose would work better.

Very good quality, however fits very tightly. Don't know if I could wear this for an entire shift of work.
I start size small/med flex fit hat. Don't buy if your head is bigger than that.

One Size Does Not Fit All

The web description says "one size fits most", but it was far too small for me to wear. I ordered it online and when it arrived I was so disappointed that it wouldn't fit. Helly Hansen is a great brand name but they need more than one size. I needed this product for work and now I have to take time away from work to find an FR balaclava at another work wear supplier. I wish Mark's had another option for FR.
