Gift card FAQ

  • Where can I use the Marks.com/Lequipeur.com Gift Card and eGift Cards? How do I redeem them?

Gift Cards and eGift Cards are valid both in-store and online at Marks.com/Lequipeur.com. Gift Cards can be purchased from any retail Mark’s/L’Equipeur store. eGift Cards can be purchased online.

When you are ready to make a purchase at a retail Mark’s/L’Equipeur store, you can present: (a) your physical Gift Card; (b) a copy of your eGift Card; or (c) a copy of your eGift Card on your smart phone device to the cashier. You will also need to provide your PIN number to the cashier. When you are ready to make a purchase online, Gift Cards and eGift Cards can be redeemed during the payment stage of checkout provided you have a PIN.

For Gift Cards, the PIN number is usually on the back of the card. For eGift Cards, the PIN number is located in your eGift Card email. Physical Gift cards that do not have a PIN and Merchandise Cards number cannot be redeemed online. 

A maximum of 2 Gift Cards (physical Gift Cards or eGift Cards) can be redeemed online in one transaction.

  • What happens when I return something I paid for with an eGift card?

If a Gift Card or eGift Card was used for payment and you return an item to one of our Mark’s/L’Equipeur retail stores, the refund will be in the form of a Mark’s/L’Equipeur physical Gift Card.

Note: Any item that is not within its original product packaging with all paperwork, parts and accessories must be returned to a Mark’s/L’Equipeur retail store location. Credit will then be issued at the discretion of store management in the form of a Mark’s/L’Equipeur retail store Merchandise Card. Mark’s/L’Equipeur Merchandise Cards do not have PIN numbers on the back and therefore cannot be redeemed online.

  • What if my Gift Card or eGift card does not have enough money on it for my purchase?

You can use your Gift Card or eGift Card as a partial payment for your order in store or online. The remaining purchase balance will need to be paid for using an additional method of payment. Forms of payment that can be used online are PayPal, credit card, Visa/MasterCard Debit or another Mark’s/L’Equipeur Gift Card or eGift Card. In-store payment options include cash, credit card, debit, or another Mark’s/L’Equipeur gift card or eGift Card.

  • What if my Gift Card or eGift Card has money left on it after my purchase?

If the amount of your Gift Card or eGift Card is MORE than the total order amount, the balance left on your Gift Card or eGift Card after payment of the total order amount will be stored on your Gift Card or eGift Card for future use.

  • Can my Gift Card or eGift Card expire?

No, Gift Cards and eGift Cards do not have an expiry date.

  • Is there anything else I should know about Mark’s/L’Equipeur Gift Cards or eGift cards?

A maximum of 2 Gift Cards (physical Gift Cards or eGift Cards) can be redeemed online in one transaction.

Gift cards and eGift cards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and are not redeemable for cash except as required by law.

We cannot replace lost or stolen Gift Cards or eGift Cards.

We do not charge sales tax on the purchase of Gift Cards or eGift Cards; however, items paid for with a Gift Card or eGift Card will be charged applicable sales tax.

When using physical a Gift Card, please keep the Gift Card until your order is shipped. Gift Cards used in original transaction will be credited back if order cannot be fulfilled.
