Great for long hair

I really like this silk lined hat- unlike most winter hats it does not leave me with crazy hat hair and it does not itch!!
It does tend to 'ride up' leaving my ears exposed a bit (but I have that problem with all winter hats.) I would love a version of this hat with a ponytail hole!
Otherwise it's great and it's already my favorite winter hat. Highly recommend especially if you have long hair!

roomy enuf for my big head (lady brains and all). love the satin lining for my hair. NOTE: Satin refers to the weave, not the textile, and most fabric characterized as satin has a soft, shiny finish. Satin can be made from silk, polyester or rayon - this particular product is made with polyester.

Pretty Good, but Slightly Snug Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually need a beanie with a lining for added protection from wind, so I appreciate the lining in this beanie. The longer beanie length with folded cuff is also helpful for adjusting the fit to make sure my ears are always covered. I guess I have a slightly large head because this beanie has a slightly snug fit--it's not terribly uncomfortable, but it does flatten my hair more than I would like, so I'll wear it for shoveling snow but probably not for wearing to work because it'll flatten my hair.

The lining is not satin

The lining is 96% polyester and 4% spandex.
Satin prevents moisture from being stripped from curlier hair textures and thusly is a huge asset. It is disappointing to have this labeled as "satin lined" online and on the physical external tag only to see that the lining is in no way satin.
I think simply calling it a "lined beanie" still gets interest without being misleading.
