Useless as a work garment

I've been wearing Carhartt fleece-lined, carpenter pants for years - I work outdoors all winter, and until Ashley came along they were great. Women who work like men do not need straight leg work pants. We need pants that go over our work boots. Workwear manufacturers should not employ fashion designers. Workers need function! However, if you don't do any physical work outdoors, these will still not go over your fashion winter boots. And they're too thick to stuff into boots comfortable.
  • ... and still too narrow to go over my Muck brand boots. Get real, Carhartt!

Not realistic for an actual worksight

Again another product geared to women who dont actual work on a worksight - fit across the butt is always to tight no mater the size. And useless pockets, I want & need cargo pockets like the mens version.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Helpful?

Perfect for work or play. Flattering AND durable.

I'm 5'7" 140 pounds and the Reg size 4 fit perfectly (the size guide they offer is actually super helpful!). These are possibly the most comfortable pair of work pants I've ever owned. Warm, stretchy enough that I can move around easily, form hugging so they're actually flattering, and there's no embarrassing butt-crack peepage when i squat or bend over. I also love that the side pocket can easily fit my phone. I hope there's more in stock again soon, with additional colors available as I'm keen to buy them all.

May Need to Size Up! But 100% Worth the Money

I really like these pants. I work out in the field and they've been great in the winter. I had to size up because the fleece lining made the size 12 a bit too tight, when the unlined size 12 fits me fine. They are also fairly low waisted in my opinion, but other than that I have no complaints. Very warm and comfortable

W's Lined Ashland Pant

They used to fit perfect (waist, hips, butt, cuff) and were actually flattering. Now there is WAY too much fabric around the side pockets that balloon out. Waist and butt are fine but cuff almost looks tapered - hello, they are work pants and need a boot cut to comfortably hang over boots not a slight taper. My last pair also seemed tougher if that makes sense. I feel like these will wear down very fast, hopefully I am wrong. Unfortunately, I need them to work outside but I won't be wearing them in public.
  • taper at the bottom - used to be a boot cut which makes sense on a work pant!

Perfect. Love the placement and the size of the side pockets. Nice and warm.

Feminine, long enough, durable, warm - I live in these pants. Please stock more!

I LOVE these pants. I would wear them every day. They are very effeminate but extremely rugged and slim lined. Ironically I am wearing them when this review request just came in. I'm a size 4 and they are true to size, I'm 5'11" and they are just long enough. I'd love them to be a bit longer but at my height I feel like all pants are slightly short. They are SO warm without being oppressive. These are amazing and I am extremely hard to please. I'd buy more, but they are out of the talls.
