Crushing redesign
a year ago
I wore these boots for about ten years, recently they redesigned the boot into a "2.0" version of the boot. The only positive change was the pull-out tab to make it easier to put the boots on. Every other feature was clearly a cheapening tactic. Less leather, more synthetic (i.e. plastic) fabric. No steel toe, a plastic cap instead. Further, they changed the way the boot closes, causing a bunching of fabric with laced properly that dug into my foot. After ten years of the comfiest, best boots I'd ever known, that unfortunately has come to an end. I have to find new boots now. Thanks, CAT. I really loved these.
