So far it’s only been used for play and storing toys because he doesn’t really have a need for one, but he was jealous of his 5-year-old sister’s backpack. It’s so cute and I’m pretty happy with it so far. It’s subtle but still looks enough like a Dino that my son is so happy. He wanted to wear it to bed (haha). I could be wrong but I do think it’s a little smaller than a normal elementary backpacks but not as small as a mini. It was perfect for him, or for a preschool backpack.

Probably a little bit bigger would have been better, this would be too small if he was bringing home lunch and books back and forth, but for just his sweater and take home folder and water bottle it's great.
