Untested…but bulky

This is definitely not a “packable jacket.” Yet to discover its super power in adverse weather in wind and rain. NO INSIDE POCKETS❗️None were advertised but if Columbia are really outdoors experts you would think, for this price, the utility of this jacket and its construction would have been much better thought out.
I am not having much luck with recent Columbia purchases. I will be exploring other options.

Simple and effective rain coat

Well made rain coat with no fanciness. Excellent material, zipper pockets, hood fits well without hindering your view, inside mesh everywhere (body and sleeves) to prevent sticking to skin. No inside pocket. No open or zipping vents. Very well made clips to tie hood cord.

Nice fit and quality

After being disappointed with and returning rain jackets from a couple other well known outdoor apparel companies, I decided to order the Men's Hikebound Rain Jacket from Columbia. It turned out the sizing guide was right on the money for my 6'5",190 lb body. It recommended a Standard Large size, but I was skeptical the sleeve length wouldn't be long enough which the size guide didn't address, so I ordered the XL to be sure. The XL was too big in both the body and the sleeve length, even for my long arms. My advice is go with the sizing guide that lets you put in your height and weight. Very pleased with the fit and quality and recommend.

Very Nice Rain Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like this rain jacket. I bought it for my husband for an Alaskan cruise and it provided great protection against the rain and wind. It's not overly warm but he said it helped knock the chill off. One complaint is it runs a bit big. He's a pretty solid 2X, but we debated returning it because the sleeves were long and it was a bit bulky. In the end we kept it, rolled the sleeves, and it was fine. Just keep it in mind if you're in between sizes. He's 6'2" and 275 lbs.
