Columbia Men's Konos 2-Strap Sandals

Over the years I've purchased a number of Columbia sportswear items. And also from Mark's. Never any complaints about Columbia or the retailer. However, when I wore these Columbia Men's Konos 2-Strap Sandals, it didn't take long to find that there was something wrong. It felt like there was something irritating my heal, on both feet. Like a piece of stone or something. I cheched a number of times to see what was there. Finally, I found the problem. On each sandal Columbia engraved their name and emblem. Seriously. In LARGE. On the whole heal area. Right on the heal where when you step down, you apply 4X your weight. Who the heck designed this? Whoever did, never wore sandals. And if they did, probably are one of those folks who wear socks with their sandals. This is, without a doubt, a colossal design fail. I ordered them online and to return them is a hassle. I put some Duck Tape on each heal and it rectifies the problem. I'm very disappointed and have a feeling that I'm not the only person who has had this issue. It's hard to believe that something so obvious can be overlooked. BUYER BEWARE.

I usually find size 10 a bit large, however this Columbia sandal is just right (instead of 9 1/2 which isn't an available size). Sandal is lightweight and comfortable. Glad I found it, plus was on sale!

Very nice sandal however it has no arch support for those looking for that feature
