I bought 4 pair of pfg shorts. The front pockets frayed on 3 of the 4 pair after being worn only a few times. Tried to mend them but the material was so cheap the patch wouldn’t hold.

Apparently no one tested the belt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The belt is too big for the belt loops and is frustrating to add or remove. Even worse, if you have even the slightest gut, and if you don't tuck your shirt into your shorts (hopefully everyone!) the belt will cut into your stomach and leave a welt

The back pocket thread wears out and the pocket becomes worthless. Do not recommend if you plan to use outdoors and sit on ruff surfaces.

Silver ridge utility shorts - mens

I've been using Columbia shorts for years and really liked the fit, value and durability. However this latest batch shows a significant drop in quality in both material and workmanship. One front pocket failed the first time I wore them. The seam at the bottom of the pocket opened up. I easily could have lost my keys. The overall material seems cheaper as well. Unfortunately I'm switching to another company for my shorts.
No, I do not recommend this product.
