Much smaller sizing

I recently bought a new Columbia to replace an old one. The old one was a size large because I don’t like my clothes to be too tight. The new one is a size X-large and it’s smaller than the old size large - and it’s still tight! The fabric is fine, the color is great, I didn’t shrink when I washed it - it’s just really skimpy.
If you are ordering a new one on line, make sure you order at least one size larger.

Jacket is not the same from the previous years

I wish I would have returned. I was hoping if I washed it would shrink a little. It didn't. I went with the XXL bc that's what I bought a couple of years ago and it was longer than the 1X. This year the fabric has changed (too bulky), sleeves are way too long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never met a Columbia full zip fleece that I didn’t love. I bought a gray one over 5 years ago and it still holds up great. Decided to buy some more colors this past year and now I rotate green, pink, and red. The fit and breathability are magnificent. I love that it keeps me warm but I don’t get overheated. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is soft and comfortable. The problem is the zipper. The zipper sometimes starts opening from the bottom. Then I have to unzip the jacket and zip out up again. Not so fun in the cold......

Why Does The Zipper Keep Breaking / Failing?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Benton Springs Jacket in a beautiful royal blue in February 2021 which I did not wear a lot. I had also bought another one prior to 2021. Both jackets had the same issue with the zipper teeth detaching from the fabric portion of the zipper about 5 inches from the bottom and going up several inches. In December of 2025 I sent back the jacket for inspection and was told it wasn't a warrantee item, which I understand. I would just like to know why the zippers keep failing. I spoke to a great customer rep who found other reviews documenting the same problem, hence I decided to add this review. I love the fleece jackets, but not that the zippers fail. I have other brands of fleece jackets, Talbots, and they have not had this problem. I just added another picture of another Columbia Benton Springs Jacket where the zipper teeth also separated from the fabric portion of the zipper.
