I am usually a size small or x-small in Columbia clothing. The small in this dress was too high waisted (even though concealed) and the neckline did not lay flat. Darn.

This dress design is really cute! The garment is what you would expect from Columbia in construction but the fabric is a very thin, stretchy polyester like bathing suit fabric. I returned it because I did not expect it would be durable. I travel often and worried it would snag and or run like a stocking in one wearing. I am 5/8" and about 128 pounds. The "M" size was just right although a bit big in the armhole. The length was very long and hit just below the ankle bone. It is truly a maxi. I was hoping the length would be as shown.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the summer dress to beat all other summer dresses. It can truly be dressed up or down to be worn nearly everywhere. I wore this all day, sitting in the 85-degree sun at a baseball tournament. I had 100% sun protection where the dress covers, and my legs felt downright cool/chilled at times, when there was a breeze. I went home feeling comfortable, even after a long day. I’m a plus-size woman with large hips, thighs, and a belly and I feel appropriately covered/flattered by the fit and fabric. I immediately bought a second one in another color. This is going to be my uniform for the summer.
